9th September 2023 was definitely a memorable day for Singaporean ATINYs as it was the first time ATEEZ brought their world tour, “THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL” to Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The crowd were giving their all; energy, screaming, fanchants and waving their light sticks enthusiastically while waiting for the boys on stage as their songs were playing in the background. Unfortunately, Jongho, the talented main singer of the group couldn’t make it due to an injury and it was stated on the screens to remind the fans that he will definitely see them in the next one. However, that doesn’t stop any of the ATINYs from giving their fullest support to the group and it was definitely touching to see. As the lights were dimmed, roars and chanting of the member’s names were heard. It was evident that this concert isn’t just a concert, ATEEZ themselves are ready to hold onto everyone’s hands from 1st to the 3rd floor of the stadium into their journey through their spectacular performances and stage presence that will definitely not be forgotten. Even though English is indeed not their first language, ATEEZ made an effort to communicate to the audience in English throughout the concert. They earned a lot of cheers and support from the audience while doing so. ATEEZ themselves too, shared some Singlish they learned such as “Shiok!” “Thanks LAH!”. The concert was filled with insane energy from the audience and ATEEZ. It featured a diverse setlist and a fair mixture of old and latest songs from their discography from raps to ballads to fan songs. The ones that made the audience get fired up were “WAVE”, “HALA HALA”, “BOUNCY” and “GUERILLA”. Some were even singing the song word by word. The whole atmosphere was indescribable. Lucky fans were also picked out by the ATEEZ members themselves during the special segment where they had to show off their dance moves to the well known “BOUNCY” and an opportunity to have a dance off with the members themselves. As the night went by, ATEEZ took a moment to give their special thanks and their gratitude towards the audience and fans, ATINY for making time to come for their concert and apologised for taking too long to have a concert in Singapore. Yunho, also pointed out how grateful he was to the fan support that ATINYs had prepared and he said that no matter how many lifetimes there may be he would do whatever he’s doing now for ATINYs again. Tears were shed by fans and cheers were heard. To end the night, ATEEZ gave their last full energy and enthusiasm with “THE REAL” and it clearly left a long lasting impact on everyone in the stadium and it was a night to remember that will be cherished by many forever.
